Dries Van Noten's spring-summer 2022 collection is an explosion of color and joy. Inspiring the designer, it was precisely the progressive post-pandemic openings. The garments convey precisely the essence of fun, lightness and joy, the desire to return to sharing unforgettable moments and sincere emotions with each other. As the designer himself said, "we thought about all the moments when you go out, mingle with the crowd, share emotions and have fun - whether it's a pop rock festival or a small club or disco." What inspired Van Noten the most is Tomorrowland, one of Europe's biggest festivals. In fact, "when you look at the photos there are some people dressed up, others are wearing more comfortable things, but still they are sharing something. That's what I wanted to focus on in this collection. Visual fireworks!".If for the previous collection, the designer celebrated movement as a form of self-expression, this time, movement is conceived as a feeling of togetherness, which resurfaces in the community. So, the fashion now reflects the desire to touch the extremes, there are jacquard fabrics, in silk, fluffy dresses, others bright, different levels of brightness and color. Still presented digitally, the video was made after three days of filming, by Rafael Pavarotti and Albert Moya.
